Balance - When different parts of an image catch the viewers eye equally. Movement - Has motion blur, the apparent streaking of moving objects in a photo. Repetition/ Rhythm - When you repeat a certain pattern, color, shape or negative space to enhance a photo. Emphasis - An area or object that draws attention, making it a focal point. Simplicity - Omits non-essential elements and details that don't contribute to the overall concept. Contrast - A strong visual difference between elements. Proportion - Comparing sizes of objects, or the amount if one thing to the whole. Space - Adding visual space in front of the direction that an object is moving, looking or pointing to imply motion and direction and to lead the eye of the viewer. Unity - Taking the parts of a piece of art and unifying them in to something better as a whole.

I'm back to posting on this blog, this time for Digital Photography II. I hope to re-learn how to use a camera again. It been over a year since I took a photography class and look forward to take photos again.
