Our assignment was to take pictures over the weekend that displays a technique or type of photography. I chose to take pictures leaves and plants around my house and most of them fall into the still life category. The picture is taken with a 1/5 shutter speed, and a 5.6 aperture. I also edited the photo in photoshop to brighten the photo. I practiced using depth or zooming in really close. Also I was taking photos in the rain so I had to edit the lighting in the photos.

In this assignment, we had to take multiple photos of someone. Then, we went into photoshop where we put the different pictures into one photo so it looks like theres multiple of the one person. During this assignment I learned that when you use black it conceals, and when you use white it reveals the image. I also learned its helpful to make the brush size smaller so u can edit it better.
Our assignment was to take pictures ver the weekend that displays a technique or type of photography. I chose to take pictures of my friends which falls into the people category, and for that photo your supposed to show your friends personality. This picture of Kiara perfectly captures her personality. She is a cheery person and loves blankets. The picture is taken with a 1/30 shutter speed, and a 5.0 aperture. I edited the photo in photoshop to brighten, contrast and create aesthetics for the photo. I learned that its hard for people to stand still for photos and how lighting effects the photo. Also using depth or zooming to help your photos.
For my fourth Monday photo post I chose to study portrait photos. So this means i will be working on capturing the person and their personality.

Our assignment was to take pictures in our free time over the weekend that displays a technique or type of photography. I chose to take far away pictures of trees, and water for my landscape photos. The picture is taken with a 1/15 shutter speed, and a 5.6 aperture. I also edited the photo in photoshop to darken the shadows, and add a blue filter to make the water more better in the picture. I practiced taking images with a tripod. And I practiced using depth or zooming in really close. Also since the lighting was bad I used aperture to brighten the photos, still lots of photos I had were a bit dark. so I still had to edit them in photoshop.
For my third Monday photo post I chose to study panoramic photos. Since I didn't end up using landscape last week I'm going to do it this week with what I learned with our panoramic photos we took. So this means i will be working on capturing the entire scene and depth too field once again.

We learned to take panoramic photos with and without the tripod. We also learned how to merge images in photoshop to create the photo.
Our assignment was to take pictures in our free time that displays a technique or type of photography. I chose to take a close up picture of paint brushes in macro mode which falls into the macro category. The picture is taken with a 1/10 shutter speed, and a 6.3 aperture. I also edited the photo in photoshop to brighten the brushes, make the back ground darker, and add a blue filter for aesthetics in the picture. I practiced taking a lot of photos of just one image to actually get one that I liked. And I practiced using depth or zooming in really close. Also lighting is so important so I put a light above where I was taking a photo, still lots of photos I had, had bad lighting. so I still had to edit them to brighten them.
This assignment was to edit the car photo given to us to match the example we were also given. I edited to car in photoshop with the copy stamp option and selection tools. Then edit another photo of our choice. This assignment really helped me understand more about photoshop. Also if you can't tell for the last one I brightened to picture and highlighted parts of to photo and changed the eye color and tint. But overall this assignment was really useful.
For my second Monday post I chose to study landscape photos. So i will be working on capturing the entire scene and depth too field.
