This is a continuation of pop art 1 where we took an image and hanged it. I liked doing the second photo shop assignment more because you get more freedom with the hue and saturation. So you can personalize it to fit you, but once again I din't like how easy it is to make mistakes and it takes a long time to go find and fix the issue.

We took a photo from a previous photo shoot and used photo shop to crop, multiply the image, and re color it. I liked getting to know how to use photoshop and how you can completely change your photo in a few clicks of a button. I din't like how u can mess everything up really quickly and its hard to redo.
Aperture4.0 Aperture 5.0 Aperture 6.3 Aperture 8.0 Aperture Aperture- I used markers lined up and focused on the first one to show how the aperture effects the depth to field of a photo. Shutter Speed1/4 Shutter Speed 1/15 Shutter Speed 1/30 Shutter Speed 1/125 Shutter Speed I had my friend Kiara wave to create motion I the picture. We used the Shutter speed control to show the motion better. 1) A fast shutter speed makes the image more clear with little motion blur
2) A slower shutter speed causes motion blur 3) A large aperture makes a brighter photo, also gives a shallow depth of field 4) A smaller aperture makes a darker photo, gives a deep depth to field. So for my first photo I chose the topic of macro shooting. I wanted to focus on zooming in on the subject and getting every detail in the photo so in the future my photos will turn out better.
Some examples are: https://lukeriddalldesign.wordpress.com/2013/01/07/macro-photography-research-ideas/ www.picturecorrect.com/tips/5-ideas-for-a-great-indoor-macro-photography-session/on/ www.graphicmania.net/stunning-macro-photography-ideas-and-examples/ These are great examples because they show a variety of ways to capture the macro photos. I like make up, so one idea is to take some close up photos, like the glitter photo. I also love my pets, so I will try to take some macro photos of them too. Lines- I chose a horizontal picture of the side walk in front of the main entrance. Depth To Field- I chose a daisy from around the pond, and it shows the depth from the flower to the grass behind. Rule of Thirds- This is a picture of Kiara, i lined up the picture to the rule of thirds grid. Symmetry- This is a picture of the football field taken from the ground Texture- I chose a picture of flowers from the main entrance because the dew on the flower creates texture. Pattern- This is bricks that taken from this angle make a cool looking pattern. Framing- I framed Kiara and the pond behind with the two pine trees. Space- This shows space by zooming in on the flower and having an almost solid color background to make the flower pop. Perspective- i zoomed really close in on Kiara's face which is a side perspective. Balance- This shows balnce with the grey sky and the fence and then the bar balances the just grey area. Color- This is at the football field but in a different area, it highlights the bright green color
Hi I'm Ally, this blog is for my digital photography class. I'm really into art, I don't know if im considered an artist yet but I love being creative. I would say im best at charcoal drawings, pencil drawings, and acrylic painting. I also really like dance, I was in competition dance for 6 years and just quit this year to focus on myself, and getting better grades, but dance will always be a part of me. The honest reason I took this class was for the credit, but I've really enjoyed the class so far and I'm considering taking more photography the next few years. I don't have much photography knowledge before coming into class, I've only used my phone and occasionally a small camera on trips. So this class may be challenging but I will learn a lot.
